that cap.. it looks like it just "sits" on top, unlike the hippo that has a screw in adapter, and a press-fit-o-ring ring that holds on for "air flow" it looks like.. am i right? .. I guess bombvapor has them.

We've got a few of these @RCMits. Affordable, but just as you said... a simple ring that sits there. Has a hybrid look, but airflow can be an issue.

for a v3 of the provari i would love to see maybe an vw, upgraded sw and a usb/passthru opt. with out having to get that huge pt opt. that they have on the provape website. I saw the telescope mod that was made in and it looks cool but only get the full benefit is ur using a mini but i would be nice in provape make an official one. Ive seen the "beauty ring" for the provari but it doesnt work well on the v2+ and depending on what you have screwed onto your mod due to the slight variations on the mod versions but it does give it the clean gen/hybrid look if that is what you want. i would also like to see them bring back some of the old opts. that they had limited when the v2 came out like finish, ring color, LED colors and even maybe the milling design, ( i love the body of the mini but i cant stand having small batteries since i can kill a 1100mah 18490/18500 in 4-6 hours)......and maybe being able to use flat top batts would be a plus so i dont have to search for them.....

I've been seeing a lot of debate between the Provari and eVic... Now without getting hostile, which do you honestly like better and why? I love my Provari, but I also regret selling my eVic.

i have both, and i like both. honestly.. to me:

provari: good weight, hits well, very sturdy, proven performer
provari cons: not much but, vw would be nice.

evic: easy menuing, nice looking, vw is nice, hits decently, lots of mods out for it.
evic cons: very light, only goes to 5v, but decent with wattage mode.

that's just a quick rundown.. there are many other pros and cons.. but nothing bad.
you can't go wrong with either honestly.

the ONLY thing i don't like is the software to upgrade it. it works, but it's not perfect.
once you get it, and set it.. that's about it.
